ORTHOPEDICS ( ORTHOPEDIC SURGERY)

Orthopedics is a specialized field of surgery that focuses on the treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system. This includes conditions and injuries to bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons and cartilage.

MRI

Our facility is equipped to perform MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) on any portion of the human body. This procedure generally takes about 40 minutes to complete.

X-Ray

Radiographs (X-rays) continue to be a very important part of orthopedic evaluation. These images can demonstrate bones very well and are essential for evaluating fractures as well as arthritic joints.

BONE DENSITY TESTING (DEXASCAN)

The dexascan machine can provide useful information about the density or quality of bone, thus determining the presence of osteoporosis. This painless study can be done in about 10 minutes and there are no risks involved.

PHYSICAL THERAPY

We have the largest (5000 sq ft) outpatient physical therapy unit in the area.  Our trained therapists can provide one on one exercise guidance for specific orthopedic conditions from the neck to the foot.

LABORATORY

We have a full service laboratory that allows patients to obtain blood draws throughout the day. This service can be provided to patients with an order from their physician.
