Orthopedics is a specialized field of surgery that focuses on the treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system. This includes conditions and injuries to bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons and cartilage.

Our physicians are trained to care for the simplest bump or bruise or fracture in young children, the complex injury in a high school or college athlete, or the inevitable degenerative arthritic conditions that are so common in the elderly.

We are trained to care for neck and back pain as well as any problem involving the upper and lower extremities. Our goal is to care for these conditions with the most conservative and cost effective means, however, have the capability to perform complex surgery if necessary.

All of our orthopedic surgeons have obtained a medical doctor (M.D.) degree at respected American medical schools.  Each is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

An orthopedic surgeon must attend medical school for four years, complete a five year residency training program and then become board certified by passing a rigorous testing process.
